The highlight for Shooey came earlier in the day when we stopped at Sonic. Seven years without a Sonic Shake and Tater tots! Michael seemed to enjoy his foot-long chili dog as well.

It was a long drive today. We went through three states: Michigan, Indiana, and Illinois. The Chicago traffic was terrible even on a Sunday. We arrived in time to walk down to Navy Pier and get stuck there as torrential rains forced everyone inside the Mall. Shooey took advantage and bought a souvenir shot glass for her friend. We decided to have some deep-dish pizza and then headed back to the hotel when the rain cleared.
